1/18/2012-- Glenn Gibson Named Tides Pitching Coach. Former Minor Leaguer and 4th Round Draft Pick, Glenn Gibson will now be the head pitching instructor for the Tides organization. Glenn will be working with pitchers during the winter workouts, as well as attending many Tides games and practices throughout the 2012 season.
1/18/2012-- Rosters Have Been Posted! As of January 19th all rosters for the upcoming 2012 season have been posted. We are currently building second teams in a few age groups, so please feel free to contact us if you are interested in becoming a Tide! All players that are current members of the Tides should check the team pages to ensure their name is listed with the proper team. If there are any questions or concerns please contact us as soon as possible. 11/16/2011-- 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U Season Details Released.
The Atlantic Tides are proud to announce that season details for the upcoming 2012 seasons have been released. Details have been emailed to all current Tides players and tryout date has been set for December 10th at All Pro at 10am. If you are interested in trying out please contact Paul@atlanticbaseballclub today!! Spots are limited. 10-13u teams will be participating in the PAL Spring League, TOB Summer League and TOB Fall League. Teams will also be participating in winter workouts at All Pro and 2 selected tournaments in 2012.11/14/2011-- 2012 9U Season Details Released.
We are proud to announce that our 9U team for the upcoming 2012 season will be managed by Paul Gibson Jr. Many of the players from our talented 2011 Fall Team are already set to return and we will be holding player evaluations on December 10th for new players interested in joining the team for next year. The team will be beginning winter workouts in January then proceed to participate in Baseball Heaven Spring League, Town Of Brookhaven Summer League and Baseball Heaven Fall League. We will also be participating in weekly practices as well as selected Baseball Heaven tournaments. 11/10/2011-- Fall Ball Comes To A Close.
Thanks to all who participated in fall baseball this year with the Tides. Thank you for staying positive throughout a lot of poor weather this fall. It was a great season for the Tides as many strides of progress were made. A new 9U team was introduced in which Sam Schneider tossed the first no hitter in Tides history. Our 11/12 year old finished the season with a 7-3 record. Our 12u team was able to climb to the .500 mark after winning only a few games throughout the spring and summer and our Junior High and Junior Varsity programs were able to battle amongst themsleves and against some very tough opponents this fall, gaining valuable additional at bats, innings pitched and chances to play the field. Despite the poor weather it was a great fall and a great year. Thank you to everyone who was part of the program this year. We will be releasing details for each team for 2012 beginning next week.
